Cafe Felix

I always thought that Cafe Felix was just a coffee shop; it’s much more. I stopped in for breakfast on a rainy last week. The entrance opens up into an elegant European style restaurant serving French food. Say what you want about the French, but they do have great food.
I had quiche (real men do eat quiche, c’mon it’s just a mix of pie and scrambled eggs) and a coffee. Everything was great and I’d like to come back for dinner.

My wife and I stopped in here today (June 14 2009) for a noon Suday brunch. We waited half an hour for our food to arrive, even though there were few patrons in the place. We had ordered two omelets. When they did arrive, they were easily the worst I have ever seen. Two cooked egg patties wrapped around tasteless, over- and under-cooked ingredients. We left it all sitting on the plates. The place should be ashamed to call itsef a restaurant.
